For the President
And his team investigating human rights funds: Your team temporarily stopped these funds, but the ban must be permanent. The money never helped Iranians—it was misused for personal gain and even supported the Islamic Republic’s interests.

Let's take a look at the Normal Life campaign, registered in California by Masih Alinejad’s associate, Ali Ebrahimzadeh , along with Roozbeh Monjezi and Ladan Bazargan. Pay attention to the yellow highlights. The addresses and phone numbers have been redacted. The information is available on the California Secretary of State’s website.

In the registration documents submitted by the Ebrahimzadeh network, the name of Iran is nowhere to be found. In the organization’s tax filings, Ebrahimzadeh declared to the government that he worked 40 hours per week for this organization, despite claiming that he works full-time as a carpenter. You will see how the received funds were spent.

This document shows that the Normal Life organization was registered by the following individuals: •Roozbeh Monjezi as the President •Ali Ebrahimzadeh as the Secretary, Treasurer, and Director •Ladan Bazargan as a Director This version of the document is dated February 4, 2024.

In the document below, you can see that Normal Life applied for registration as a tax-exempt charitable organization in 2021. Organizations submit this request so that their donors can benefit from tax exemptions. Pay attention to the name Bahman Shahangian.

The document below is very important. It is the 2023 tax return of the Normal Life organization. In Section G, you can see that the organization received $179,568. However, the source of this money is not specified in the document. It is simply listed as funding or financial assistance.

The next point is in Row 1, where the form asks about the activities of Normal Life. The response states: "Raising awareness and solidarity with people by showcasing the standards of a normal life in different countries." There is no mention of Iran, making it seem as if this organization is an international entity rather than one focused on Iran.

In the document below, you can see that only $1,115 was spent on the Normal Life campaign on social media. The exact translation of the expense description is: "Executing a media campaign called Normal Life, which promotes freedom of expression as a fundamental standard for a normal life." There is no mention of Iran in this description.

In this document, the organization’s members have declared the number of hours they work per week for the organization: •Ali Ebrahimzadeh: 40 hours •Roozbeh Monjezi: 40 hours •Ladan Bazargan: 1 hour It appears that two of them were working full-time for the organization. The accuracy of this claim cannot be confirmed or denied. However, in general, lying to the government is a crime.

In this section, you can see that out of $179,568, a total of $57,024 was spent on legal and judicial matters. The question is: Does the path to a "normal life"—which this group claims is the purpose of this organization—go through the courtroom? Additionally, $2,119 was spent on accounting services.

Here is a breakdown of some of Normal Life's expenses:
For the year 2022:
•$2,170 for printing
•$6,721.66 for travel
•$1,154.62 for food and meals
•$1,421.23 for Starlink (!!)
•$8,149.31 labeled as "activities" (with no details provided) Total: $19,717.63

In 2023, a total of $33,398.50 was spent on legal and judicial matters. There is an important and strange point here, which I will elaborate on if necessary at the right time. Do these legal expenses align with the goals they claimed for their organization? Was this money spent on a lawsuit against an individual or the organization itself?

A while ago, Ladan Bazargan appeared on Iran International TV to protest the cutting off of U.S. government funding by the Trump administration. As you saw, she is one of the founding members of this organization.

As you can see in this series of tweets, some organizations that collect money in the name of the Iranian people, like Normal Life, do not mention Iran in their organizational description. You also saw that a significant portion of the funds was spent on legal matters.
